J.J. served in student ministry for almost 15 years, and started at RidgePoint Church in 2009 as the Pastor of Student Ministries before transitioning into the Lead Pastor role in 1013. He graduated with a BA in Bible from Clearwater Christian College and a Masters in Christian Studies from Southeastern Theological Seminary.

J.J. married the love of his life, Beth, in 1997. Soon after, God started to give them a heart for adoption and they now have five amazing children: Michael, Jahid, Hamee, Karam, and Zach.  Ask him anything about his Baskin Robbins flavored family and he will tell you a story of God's grace.
